If you know me, you know that I am a MEGA foodie. (a veggie foodie, but nonetheless - a foodie.) There is nothing better than a good meal, especially an in season meal. It is so important to eat foods provided from the earth, and to eat them when they are actually in season.

The benefits of eating seasonally are endless -

Seasonal produce is harvested at its peak - meaning that because it's had time to naturally ripen, it has peak vitamin and nutrient qualities to it. It will also have more of an intense flavor, which who doesn't want that? With eating seasonally, you are also able to reduce your carbon footprint and pesticide consumption from eating foods that go with the geographical season - less travel time for your food to get to you, and they don't need near the amount of pesticides fruits and veggies need when they are trying to be grown out of season. (so basically, an all around win!)
